Description
The Emax X5 Frame 200MM with 5″ Arms
Introducing the Latest X design frame from Emax the X5 with equal motor placement and central mass for the perfectly balanced FPV Drone Racer .
Because many customers wanted super clean builds, the Emax team created a custom PDB Power distribution board with Dual Shielded Voltage Regulators, on board built in XT60 lipo connector, audible buzzer and programmable LED RGB strip.
The built In PDB serves as the top part of the main frames structure thus eliminating the need for another carbon piece to save valuable weight. With the components placed around the center of the frame, the center of gravity allows the X frame to turn on a sixpence.
Various Arm sizes make it so easy to change frame sizes from 4” to 6” Nighthawk-X6 (6” frame) The All-Up-Weight is less than 490g with a 1000mah 4s battery, and can achieve seriously high thrust to weight ratio.
Check out the intro video of this frame:
PDB on the Emax X5
-
Intergrated 5V and 12V regulators supply clean, filtered power to your electonics.
-
ESC Signal pads allow clean easy soldering and efficient builds saving on excess cables.
-
Programmable RGB LEDs let user choose from endless colors and features through the Flight Controller using Cleanflight Configurator.
-
XT60 Connector directly mounted onto the PDB (Further reducing weight by eliminating heavy wires as well as risk of cutting power leads).
-
Dedicated signal pads are aligned with the Flight Controller to allow clean connections.
ARMS:
-
Change from 170, 200, or 240mm sized frame by simply swapping out arms.
-
Narrow width of the face of the arms allow more thrust to pass through.
-
Unique motor plate design lets the user install original EMAX Nighthawk Motor Guards.
SPECS:
- 170mm Motor-to-Motor distance
-
4mm thick arms – available in 5″ and 6″ lengths
-
1.5mm Bottom Carbon Fiber plate
-
1.5mm Top Carbon Fiber plate
